But its use having ended is not an urban vs. rural thing: It ended everywhere.My view is that its use in schools is not necessary. There are numerous non-physical punishments that can be applied that will achieve the same effect. Corporal punishment by parents should only be used if a child did something or attempted to do something profoundly dangerous that would have led to injury. |
