Not necessarily. However, one of the great failures of our educational system is that it isn't mandatory for students to learn at LEAST one foreign language and speak it fluently. Most other civilized countries in the world make it mandatory...I guess we gotta be different and expect everyone ELSE to learn our language, but we're not suppose to understand anyone else. Sounds kinda one-sided and chauvinist to me. |
