Adam, I hate to ruffle your feathers, but in reality the MAJORITY of people that live in the Americas (combining North and South) speak Spanish. Those that speak English are in the MINORITY, so we have no right here in the USA -- only ONE country among manyThis is total bullshit. Hemispheres have no legal government or authority. If a country wants to have an official language, it can go ahead. If people in Mexico want to speak Spanish, great, but if people from Mexico want to live in the United States, they should speak English. And conversely Americans moving to Mexico should speak the language of the Mexicans (Spanish). In addition, if you want to talk about capturing land and absorbing it culturally, why is it that the majority of people in the Americas speak a European language? Why don't you rail against that? |
