He explicitly said that it was "nonsense and propaganda," and reiterated this statement several times.

As for Salaam believing that white people are the devil, that is what NOI actually believes. He has admitted to being NOI. He has also stated that white folks are the devil.

First of all, belonging to a group doesn't mean agreeing with everything that group says and does.

Second, either you or he have yet to clarify exactly what is meant by that statement— literally, it's absurd but figuratively it's perfectly understandable.
