I'm referring to the Walton family that owns Walmart.Sam Walton worked hard and earned a fortune. Sam Walton died in 1992. Jim Walton and Alice Walton do not work— they received billions of dollars in taxpayer handouts and they live decidedly royal lives as welfare queens on that taxpayer money. People like them are few and far between, but $175 billion is rather a lot of taxpayer handouts for so few people— they're listed as the richest people in the country entirely because of their welfare check. |
