The argument can be made that they shouldn't have children in the first place.I would agree with that, but you can't change the past. So conservatives seem to believe the already born children ought to suffer just because they believe it's immoral to give people money for nothing. Meanwhile conservatives also oppose other things that could be used to prevent the scenario you've cited: Abortion, easy availability of Plan B, free contraceptives for teenagers, sex ed that's not abstinence only, etc. |
