If waiting until you're 70 to collect social security works for you, than do it. I'm happy for you. For me, I want to get to start collecting at 62, instead of 66 and a half, or 70. I know that by waiting 8 years I will be get at least a grand more, or perhaps more. But I would rather start collecting at 62. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us.For me starting at 62 will work out better than waiting until 70. If you wish to wait until 70, and you feel that works for you, that's fine. |
