When did I ask for a less crowded train? The average non-foamer simply wants a train that will take them to their destination as quickly as possible. Have you ever heard the phrase New York Minute? People do not want to experiment with silly little locals. I'd rather get squished like a sardine then stop at 65st, Northern Blvd, 46st, Steinway st, 36st, etc. The F riders having to transfer to the E just to reach the vital Manhattan stops certainly would rather have the F go to its original destination than to make these obscure stops like Queensbridge and Roosevelt Island.
