Yes, it was ridiculous that Queens Blvd only had one local Manhattan route. That is a major improvement. To finish it, they should route the V from Broadway-Lafayette to metropolitan. This would give the V a whole new use in Manhattan in reverse peak direction, as the reverse peak direction would be the peak direction for the people coming from the Broadway El and Myrtle el.
