Then I can get on a F train that circumvents several important stops in Queens and Manhattan. Those stops are no more important than the stops is does make, except to a small minority that you belong to. I'll probably have to stand on the E, even at the first stop. I always get a seat on the E in the morning. You just have to know how to do it. All of the people that used to take the F to Lex/53rd cram onto the E. And just as many leave that E and get onto the F(just not from the 1st car). Also, many of those people who needed the E or F now take the V, which reduced the crowd on both the E and F which help reduced dwell time on both the E and F. By the time the E enters Roosevelt it resembles the Tokyo subway. No NYC subway line resembles the Tokyo Subway. Don't you dare call my commute easy. Believe me, your commute is easy. It may be long, but it is no worse than most people's commutes. I might also note that you chose that commute. You don't like your commute, either move closer, change jobs, or stop whining. |
