Her paramour and his unfortunate spouse hailed from the similarly solid Massapequa.Joel Rifkin, the very epitome of a 'nice Jewish boy'- i.e. glasses, 'nerdy'- is from East Meadow, another stable middle-class community. And look what HE did! When news of his alleged actions broke, some of his former classmates casually described how he and his friends would bully and reject Rifkin while growing up- including one guy I knew from camp whom I could easily picture pelting another kid with eggs and throwing him in his locker. (I felt like yelling at the screen "Well, I hope you're proud of yourself- maybe YOU contributed to how messed-up he became!") But I digress. The point is, I'm agreeing with your assessment that even kids from 'good communities' or 'good families' can do bad things. |

If you are a resident of Park Ave in Yaphank, on your deed in parenthesis, is "Adolf Hitler Drive". Obviously it was changed to Park Ave many MANY years ago, but it still is on the deed, as are any name changes in parenthesis on deeds. That doesn't mean that what those people once thought was a good thing still survives there. |

Many people say that, but few really choose to live that way. People have a limit on how much diversity is acceptable and it varies depending on the person. I'm not saying that you're this way, but I often find it a shallow thing to say. People that advocate "diversity" like being able to walk/drive to nearby Chinese or Mexican restaurants and that's about it. They like their own neighborhood to have a significant white majority. I live in a very diverse area, yet because of language and cultural differences there is not as much interaction between different races as I would have thought. I'd go as far as to say that races intentionally avoid interacting. |

I posted articles featuring whites many times. Just today, I took the side of the cops against the white guy in Kissimmee who was in jail for three months. You could tell the guy had a long history of trouble with the law. Turned out he had all kinds of outstanding debt to the city and prior cocaine possession charges.I posted the article about the white kid breaking into homes in Kings Park. About the white couple breaking into Dairy Barns. You'r lacking something. That's why you make false claims. |

The area near Belmont Park has a reputation for being a tough neighborhood, and this goes back many years.Most areas that are "tough" now were "tough" in the past as well. The ethnicity of the inhabitants may have changed, and the style of crime evolves over time as well. Still, the type of housing stock (and the affordability of such), is a better determinant of "tough" areas than race or nationality. |
