Many people say that, but few really choose to live that way. People have a limit on how much diversity is acceptable and it varies depending on the person. I'm not saying that you're this way, but I often find it a shallow thing to say. People that advocate "diversity" like being able to walk/drive to nearby Chinese or Mexican restaurants and that's about it. They like their own neighborhood to have a significant white majority. I live in a very diverse area, yet because of language and cultural differences there is not as much interaction between different races as I would have thought. I'd go as far as to say that races intentionally avoid interacting.
