No one is saying crime is new on LI. I'm saying the street violence involving gangs, including stabbings and shootings, is something I don't remember back in the late 70's or early 80'sThat's because you couldn't get on the Internet and read every tidbit of violence going on back then. Something happening in Franklin Square was completely irrelevent to something happening in Riverhead. Now somebody in Florida can click on the computer and find out. |
