I don't agree with their thesis that cutting government aid will decrease poverty. Poverty is relative. People who live in poverty in the United States tend to have running water, electricity, telephone and TV. In poorer countries those are luxuries. The poverty rate isn't going to decrease, you're just going to have people in poverty live better off.That having been said, I agree with abolishing the minimum wage and that welfare has encouraged absentee fathers. Another thing they neglect to mention that would help blacks economically is a crackdown on illegal immigration. I don't know what they mean by "fraudulent education," sounds like those right-wingers who think public schools are "indoctrination centers" (actually they are, but that is not a bad thing). |
