While its a shame that the newer and more aesthetically more modern looking R-42s may go sooner that the older R-32s it's a tribute to the Budd Co that their cars are able to last as long as they are as is the case with the oldest silverliners which are also Budd products. Even pre GOH, I found the R-32s to be the best operating of the postwar BMT/IND cars.
