I wish they'd scale the PA5 up and use it, instead of 210 MORE R142/143 lookalikes.Somehow, we got stuck with ugly "narrow profile" stock in New York. CTA, MBTA, BVG (Berlin), RATP (Paris), and TFM (Madrid) ended up decent looking stock. Hell, even London's 2009 stock isn't half-bad in terms of exterior aesthetics... OTOH, IMHO, the R-143/160 family is probably one of the better looking trains... |
