African slavery was driven by economic desires (greed) and the suffering and death inflicted upon it's victims was incidental to that drive. The Holocaust was designed to wipe an entire ethnicity off the face of the Earth, with no pardon or quarter given. An African man could live out his life if he accepted the loss of his freedom and performed his mandated labor. The Jew was simply to be killed.
