What's strange is that I came in a couple of years after MTA took over teeyay. Out on the IND (aside from Queens) we never saw any MTA wigs in the first couple of years. They infested the IRT and BMT, but I suppose they were afraid to get caught underground in upper Manhattan or the Bronx. :)As to Queens though, they got all the new and shiny. Queens democratic club I suppose was close to the Brooklyn guys as far as attention went. |
