Just like the radicals did here in the 1930's the last time your ilk had the keys to the car and wrecked it. And YOU lament what the United States became under the socialism of the 1930's through the 1960's that built up everything you're whining about us not having anymore.

Fortunately the "Fourth Turning" will bury you and put America BACK on track again.

For one its usually MISinformation, partly why folks run around not knowing what an STD looks like, or how to catch one, or why "pulling out" may not be a great idea, etc.

Also, its not school. They're not gonna give you homework for it, they won't let you look at it first or anything like that; you get it when you get it and it WON'T be as nice as apposed to a film slide.

As for parents, it may be weird, but they need to be on the up and up as well and talk to their children, for the same reasons above.

Peoples Attitudes About Sex (WAS: N.J. Town Pulls Gay Sex Books From Summer Reading List)

It's not natural to talk to your parents in detail about sex.

What an ignorant statement. It happens to be most natural to talk with your parents about sex. Unfortunately, the shame is that not enough kids and their parents do. I remember the extent of my father talking to me about sex was one question. "So...did you get laid yet?" When I was about 15/16. Granted that was in 1970 and things have improved somewhat, but, most people still have a long way to go concerning their attitudes about sex.

My mother? Even though she gave birth to SEVEN, children sex was never even mentioned. I remember when my parents were getting divorced, after 25 years, my father told me he had never seen my mother naked. My mother actually remembers when all her kids were conceived. So I gather my parents only had sex seven times. BTW, the only one of us that was "planned" was the youngest, in order to save the marriage, totally wrong reason.

"He wanted it again last night, Cathleen. Did you do your duty, Bridgette". This was and still is many peoples mindset, sadly.

Certainly a lot of the "advice" you receive from friends as a teenager isn't natural. Had a girl once tell me that you couldn't get pregnant if you douched with Coca-Cola after sex. (She'd read a passage in The Virgin Suicides, which if she had read further, would have discovered was not true.) I knew better than that, but she chose to believe it.

It's up to a teenager's parents or guardians to provide them with correct and safe information. That girl's parents were a bit hands-off in that department.
