I guess the American media hates soccer, so they make a story out of the horns.The whole world hates those horns. I've been reading English and Italian articles and emailing with people overseas. Olog posted a German article (from real media outlets). They all say the same things: the vuvuzelas suck. In normal games you get a crowd crescendo when a team makes a run or when something controversial happens (a bad foul, a bad call, etc). You can hear a fired up crowd when their team is playing well or a player does something cool. With the stupid horns, it's the same drone at all times. |
