WC is only every four years for a month and national honor rests on the results.English national pride was wounded on Saturday. Ours was greatly enhanced. But the thing is, most Americans dont care whether we win or lose in soccer. It may be a source of national pride in other countries, but it most certainly is not here, as most Americans don't care either way. |
