(If you aim a missile at a mosque full of civilians, you have intentionally killed them, and saying you only "meant" to kill one guy does not change this fact.)What do you want Israel to do differently in light of the fact that it takes many measures to avoid collateral damage to civilians and that Hamas operates from within civilian infrastructure, including mosques and hospitals? Occupation and annexation of Palestinian territories. I've already explained why this is a false charge and how Israel isn't occupying anything (you can call them disputed if you would wish but occupation isn't accurate). Enforcing an apartheid system via wall in the West Bank. Sorry, but Israel is not an apartheid state at the present time. The security fence was built in response to terror attacks against Israeli civilians (where is your sympathy for them?) and such attacks dropped to nearly zero after the security fence was completed. It could have been built without cutting off farmers from their land in some cases, but it was necessary in order to maintain the safety of Israeli civilians. Israel might be a racist state (vis a vis the Arabs and even some Jews), but it is not an apartheid state. Blockade of Gaza. That blocks weaponry from reaching Gaza where it will be fired right back at Israel. I wasn't aware access to rocket building supplies is a human right. If you sincerely believe all of those aspects of Israeli policy are not justified, you truly do not support Israel's right to defend itself. |
