Right, because if the Palestinians didn't have some degree of self-autonomy as they attempt to achieve statehood, you'd blame it on Israel. And you blame the current setup on Israel, too. As usual, Israel can't win.Nope. As usual, you're just making shit up again. If Palestine had self-autonomy, that would be fine. If Palestinians were treated as equal citizens of Israel, that would be fine. Declaring that Palestinians can't vote in Israeli elections and are not equal citizens of Israel but are subject to laws made by Israel but applied only to Palestinians and are not subject to the same legal protections as Israelis, on the other hand, is a form of apartheid. Right again, a security barrier, not an apartheid wall. You, um, do realise that the original apartheid in South Africa and the similar policy in the US did not actually involve literal separation by physical wall, right? That Israel built a wall (oh, I'm sorry, a "barrier") just makes it so over the top that trying to deny it is absurd. I'm still waiting for you to prove your claim. Which claim was that? |
