Every change they have made since the 70s is for the worse except for the curve to 125th/Park and the many transfers there. Deep tunneling instead of cut-and-cover for the whole route including the Christie segment for one. Cut-and-cover could have left more provisions for an extra two tracks. The only segment that should be TBM is 57th to about 14th and the Water St segment. |
