Meanwhile, from the Pavonia-Newport section of Jersey City, there's a lawsuit against LeFrak and others for failing to disclose noise from a PATH transformer in a new development there .New Jersey is not New York State. Long Island City is in New York State. Jersey City is in New Jersey. I don't know if they employ "caveat emptor" (Let the buyer beware) in New Jersey or not. I don't believe so. Every state has different laws. |
