And four others have pleaded guilty to lesser charges, including Gosnell's wife, Pearl. Gosnell did not testify, but could take the stand in the penalty phase if he is convicted of first-degree murder. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. Prosecutors say Gosnell is a misogynist for the way he treated female patients while the inner-city doctor described himself as an altruist in a 2010 interview with the Philadelphia Daily News. "I wanted to be an effective, positive force in the minority community," Gosnell said. Also on trial is former clinic employee Eileen O'Neill, 56, of Phoenixville. While 3 first degree murder charges have been dismissed, there are 4 other first degree murder charges still pending along with a host of other charges against him, his staff and even his wife. On the face, her statement was a lie and yet you defend her. Shame on you and your pandering ways. |

That is a dangerous precedent for cases related to reproductive rights. Enlarged head size is a sign of anencephalitis. That would not be a viable fetus. Large fetal size is also attributable to gestational diabetes, which wouldn't be treated necessarily in women who do not receive prenatal care, such as the poor. That would likely result in a larger than normal stillborn in its most severe cases. All of which you would know if you had anything close to my knowledge base about this. t's obvious you don't, as you are resorting to the emotionalism of the RW seeking to make this tragic situation a political football. as they seek to eliminate rights of adult American citizens. |

That doesn't make Dr. Gosnell innocent or absolve him of anything he did,which is plenty. It is being handled in the wrong spheres of law. |
