I don't know if they came up with evidence that any of those feoti were actually viable, which is why most of the charges have already been dropped. (a little "inconvenient fact" for your RWers) Not a single person involved in these procedures testified about anyone severing spinal cords of any fetuses. Some of the people here ought to catch up on some of the facts in this case and trial. He should be put out of business and have his license revoked. He should be sued for malpractice. However, he is not a murderer. This also points out the need for someone to serve these women in a decent way so they do not have to seek out these dubious practitioners. Legal, safe abortions need to be available to all in late term for medical reasons. When a woman goes through a pregnancy to that point it's clear that she does not intend to suddenly choose to abort. Such choices need to be made earlier on. However, medical issues can arise and often the best medical decision is to abort an non-viable fetus due to birth defect, and certainly for stillbirth utilizing the least invasive procedure possible (but it was made illegal by a bunch of do-nothing, know-nothings some years back). Medicaid, thanks to the RW,does not address these issues. But they'll pay for the emergency hysterectomy that is the inevitable result. Or the woman's burial. Then we won't see scenes like this one. |
