As for the re lettering of those MCI's, that was one thing I didn't understand, though the MTA probably had some reason for doing that.Sorry for the confusion in my post. Maybe since those MCI's were based and serviced at LIB that they should identify with that MTA company. On a side note, when MSBA borrowed old NYCTA or MaBSTOA GM Fishbowls and new look Flxibles, they retained their blue stripes and were not rebranded MSBA. Fishbowls from the #6XXX series were ones I remembered. Bill Newkirk |
