I have to admit that I was actually wondering in LIB had used the MCI's in Local service LOL.MCI's on the N-80 LOL ! Twenty years ago, I leased a 1991 Chevy S-10 Blazer at Robert Chevrolet in Hicksville. Since I wasn't trading in my old car, I had to go there by bus, taking the N-19 and transferring to the N-80 at Sunrise Mall. Believe it or not guess what rolls into the bus stop at Sunrise Mall ? A GM Suburban Fishbowl #100 series, with the blue strip last used by NYCTA !! Yes, in service and I got on a found a seat. En route, a twenty something guy gets on and looks at the luggage racks as mutters "where did this bus come from, Greyhound ?" True story. I wish I had my camera with me. : ( Bill Newkirk |
