And the S53 is always like that overnight too, especially during the summer."I love it when that happens, since it is the truth to the lie that the midnight over night boats are "empty", and therefore "we - Staten Island bound folk" deserve less transit than other places. Such situations - when for example the terminals are filled with people, there's no seats in the terminal with folks seating along the windows which were not made for seating on, or seating on the floors for an hour waiting for the boats. It is just another reminder for me that too many folks just do not understand the situation (travel to/from the island), but feel like they can say we deserve less transit. There are times when I wish I could record such nights. Mike |
