Taking photographs goes beyond "no expectation of privacy". You can look at me or listen to me all you want. The minute you start recording my presence there though, you've exceeded your grasp, even if it's "legal" to do so. It's a matter of respect. It can even be frightening to some folks when they see some yutz walking through the car pointing something at people. The inside of a public transit vehicle is not the equvalent of a public street. If you want to take shots where there are people in close proximity the proper thing to do is to publicly announce to them your intentions. Nobody bitches, snap away. If you ain't willing to do that than one day someone will show you how wrong it can be take unwanted photographs. That's all I'm saying. |
