You beat me to it! I just went out at lunchtime and took these





By the way, the inside of the hotel was crowded with no signs of the impending closure.

I also did some looking around for any remnants of the 33rd St. Passageway. If you go to the Manhattan Mall lower level and through the food court towards 7th Ave., there is an Exit door. Go through that door (it is really an exit so you are not trespassing) make a right and another right. You will see a door that says Subway - Employees Only. I bet that leads to the passageway. It was locked.

Perhaps when and if they do level the Hotel Pennsylvania to below street level, they may uncover some of the passageway.
