Here's a photo of the Autumn Ave (then called Railroad Ave) station from Art Huneke's web site:


I remember the trains running above ground on Atlantic Ave when they relocated the original tracks to the sides so they could build the subway down the middle. That's why they closed nearly all the stations. I even remember an occasional MP41 train running.
