Maybe it doesn't need CBTC but that could be tied into the system as well. Where I worked we had single sign-in. Once you were authenticated to the network all systems were to use that authentication. Most corporate systems were designed to use it, and the application would control the access.It could be used with CBTC to notify of unauthorized movements without preventing them. The other thing is that passwords should expire after a certain time. I just read your comment again. You don't need the QR code on NTTs, don't they have a console? But whatever. You understand that it can be done without reinventing the wheel. For that matter we have OMNY. You tap your phone and get in. Every NTT could have an OMNY type reader. There, not reinventing the wheel but using what they already have. |
