Amtrak is still landlord. Amtrak and LIRR share dispatching duties. NJT does nothing. Governor Fatso shooting off his mouth about cutting off payments to Amtrak (they have already been made for the year) yammering "privatizing" operations (with who ?) will put NJT strapped in firmly in the back seat.

55% of RVL, 42% of NJCL, and 28% of NEC passengers do NOT go to NYPS. NJT can send some trains to Hoboken.

LIRR has Flatbush, Hunterspoint, and subways at Jamaica and Flushing.

Amtrak has no options. They need to get to SSY or to New England. Whatever few Empire trains get canned or booted to GCT will be minimal in number, maybe 2 a day.
