What they should've done was order the R160s (or whatever contact number) for eastern division to get 67' car trains in sets of 4 for a max of 8 cars. That would be great for the L line. Maybe the R179 order should be 67' car trains so the C can be the equivalent to a 9 car train. It isn't going to swap with the A anymore, so it doesn't matter about compatibility. |
