I can't believe they can't build some sort of way up and down inside from the street level stores to the lower level stores. But as you said, it's their loss.The real problem is that it does inhibit people from really using the place, it a very inconvenient dumb building. The truth is though that as designed, the building wasn't meant to have true retail on the lower level like it does now. It was basically supposed to be sort of industrial down there (warehouse-like) while the street level was to have stores, and then parking on the roof. The obsolesence came into effect when they made the lower level a true retail area, and then it really wasn't properly designed to connect with the street levell stores, or the roof parking. |
