One would have to examine the 1968 plan for action that detailed rapid system transit expansion to understand where connections were to have been made.With the exception of limited IRT (Div A) expansion, the majority of NYC Subway builds will be IND. All subway lines that were opened after the creation of the Transit Authority in 1953 are identified as IND (now Subdivision B2) lines according to NYCT. |
