Also do remember that the setback laws changed too at some point, with or without subway. Many of the buildings along Pitkin there were built in the 60's. In the 1910's you were allowed to build buildings closer to the street than you could then, and now. So unfortunately, that doesn't prove anything one way or another either. It's a blanket law that setbacks are higher now. |
