Equating Hillarys BS to anything related to 9/11 is just plain wrong. Apples & Oranges to an extreme degree. |

You have to just come to the fact that I was privy to things (still am if I REALLY wanted to be) and saw things that you just can't see. It's as simple as that. If you think that agencies are transparent, I have a bridge to sell you. They are as transparent as they want to be. |

VCRs were going strong then, I still used one regularly until 2004 when cheap DVD recorders were able to get somewhat decent quality. That said, recording the news isn't exactly commonplace. People would record for time shifting purposes, or if they're hoarders and record everything, but that latter group probably wouldn't bother putting things up on Youtube.I will add that if loony places like Infowars haven't been able to dig up documentation of such celebrations in NJ, there might not exist any. |

You don’t need news recordings to be common, they just need to exist. Now one thing that I haven’t thought of before: because the news preempted everything on network TV for days, many people probably recorded the news inadvertently because they still had their timers going. |

True, but intentional or not, people using VCRs for time shifting would have recorded over it a few weeks later. To [obtain], [choose to preserve], [be able to find years later], and [upload to youtube] a specific clip that might have gotten airtime for 15 seconds on one or two networks during 24 hour news coverage is asking a lot. Also to put into perspective, there are TV commercials from that era that I've spent hours trying to find. After hunting through what amounts to 100 hours of recordings, I gave up. I don't think anyone would care enough to comb through that much footage looking for a specific clip unless they worked for some conspiracy news site. |

On the one hand, the fact that places like Infowars, LiveLeak, etc don't have anything lends credence to the "no such clip exists" crowd (I would not put it past Youtube to have removed the clips). On the other hand, the sheer needle in the haystack aspect of such a thing, lends credence to it having once existed / been made, but not survived through time.Or, the third option, the Mandela effect. |

My wife saw a fantastic downhill run by Franz Klammer at the 1976 Olympics. In the 80s she decided to ask the network if she could see it, but they couldn't or wouldn't find it.Nowadays it's on YouTube for anyone to find in a minute. The same would be true of Muslims celebrating in Jersey City. |

If it was a recording of a news clip, it's one open and shut copyright claim away from getting pulled down. If the originating news station wanted to make it go away, it would be trivial for them to do so. |

Something that newsworthy - if it was ever publicly available, it would still be publicly available. And it would take a major conspiracy for the Jersey City Police to have filmed it and yet no public record of it exists. I'm sure people have filed FOIA requests, so it would have to be deliberate bad faith rejection of such a request. |
