A civil rights attorney said, on NY1 that he helped get Obama into Harvard Law. He might have lied. If true, it sure seems to indicate that Obama got in as an affirmative action beneficiary.

Which doesn't mean anything here. Even if true, this would not have allowed him to attain high grades once in school as he would not be qualified. Generally schools admit people they expect would be able to succeed in school. "Succeed" can include people who just barely pass.

Would Harvard graduate Obama "magna cum laude" to have a black student who graduated with honors even if his grades weren't very high? Why not? It looks great. Especially if Obama's sponsors are from the civil rights/activist community.

LOL! Do you realize how these honors work? They are based EXCLUSIVELY on one's GPA. Nobody with even a 3.0 (in a standard grading system) is graduating magna cum laude. Sometimes there may even be an additional requirement that people be in a certain top percentage of their class.

Unless of course you say that Obama's GPA was tampered with. But here's another piece of information: Law school exams are graded anonymously. The person grading the exam would not know who they're awarding the grade to.
