That doesn't prove anything though. Americans love both Baseball and Football. Many Americans are fanatical about both. Doesn't lessen the fact that those two are still the most popular US sports.And Canada is most definitely hockey. They like American Football more than most other countries too. I never considered Canada a big "soccer" country either. And whether the Netherlands has speed skating as more popular than soccer (which I can't verify, it may or may not be true), they are still quite fanatical about Soccer. I was there when the late 90's World Cup was going on. |
