Of course there's room. And people aren't "afraid" of it. Most just think it's a funny sport, no different than Europeans (and other Soccer countries) that find American football hilarious. They aren't "scared" of it either. As I said somewhere else here, my European relatives think NFL is hilarious. They already think that Americans are fat pigs, and aren't afraid to let that be known, and that NFL football is a bunch of fat American pigs running around, which fits right into their stereotype of how they feel about Americans. |
