Many middle classers couldn't afford to send their kids there without aid or scholarships. It depended heavily on full-tuition students and parents who dropped money on fundraising and such.I'm curious as to what parts of Islip are bad - I've lived here for 26 years and there aren't any parts that really match up to what you're describing as a problem. |
