But Amendment XII states: "But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."

Bill Clinton is Constitutionally ineligible to be elected president, therefore he is ineligible for the Vice Presidency as well. However, He can succeed to the Presidency from the Speaker of the House position (if he became the Speaker of the House).
