How was it resolved? Was reno forced to resign after firing 92 of 93 US attornies? Was she forced to resign after WACO? There seems to be an epidemic of very short and selective memory here.

If the US attornies serve at the pleasure of the President, then I see no wrong-doing here. Much like the governor coming in and wanting his own MTA chairman - it's political but it's legal. This is just another democratic shit-storm over nothing and the republicans seem to have forgotten how to tell them to "fuck-off".
