How was it going to end without massive government support? Under Hoover, it was hope that prosperity was just around the corner so the saying went. But the corner had no ending. 25% of able bodies workers were out of work, the industrial complex was crippled and there was no end in sight until help arrived. Look Olag, I get the impression that if I do not agree in total with you I'm not loyal or one of the gang. That sounds like what our enemies in the o ther party practice.....believe my position or you're not relevant.You think the Great Depression would have ended if the government did nothing but let free enterprize to the work. Well history shows that between late 1929 to early 1933 things only got worse. At least be fair and tell the truth that FDR alleviated much of the suffering in this country because THAT IS A FACT!!!!!!! |
