So now Hertz is stuck with 20K of these lemons. Good luck trying to sell them. The'll no doubt go to an auction house (like all other trade-ins, lease returns, repos, etc) and be bid on by used car dealerships.
To move those EVs, they'll have to sell them at a substantial loss or promise them the world warrantees. Since most rental/leased cars are not cared for well, to say the least, I cant see a big demand for used EVs that were once rentals.
