Rental cars don’t last very long anyway, they already sell them after 1-2 years, so they would have gotten rid of these regardless. The difference is that they’re replacing them with ICE cars.

And doesn’t this wholly contradict your claim that they’re expensive? If they were that expensive, they’d sell well used.
