So then it seems that the best you can do is say "white privilege" appears to mean not being associated with "black stereotypes". That's fair enough. Why do you think that they became stereotypes in the first place?Now what about "black privilege" ? There is no such thing? What about affirmative action? What about racial quotas? What about Mr. Policeman not pulling you over for minor infraction 'cause he doesn't want to be accused of the"R" word? What about grading on the curve and social promotion? Now there is privilege. |
